Well - saying that this bike is a mistake I wanted to say all that You said :) can not agree more:)I ride Big S frame myself but that was love from first sight - the company policy and strategy is not my favourite.

I Think this bike is a mistake -the previous one was fine and only reason for change was to attract more people with something NEW and make mo money -not to mention about a plan to make all Spec frames look the same- all curvy and easy to recognise from the distance-"I don't know what bike it is but it must be a specialized-look at it's shape" :) I'm not saying that this bike is bad -tapered tead tube or integrated front mech is a cool idea - but it feels stiffer and the frame is a little bit hevier than the old model. All this changes(plus "better" standover ) made this bike more bike park-slopestyle friendly but have taken a bit of its versatility.Size M is also shorter so be carefull when buying.Personally -I don't like it

Sure. Go with Fox. The way it moves through it's travel is much better than Marzocchi's. It is not a plush as the italian, but still really great. I was always against air forks, till I tried the Float. anyway. You can't go wrong with any 36.

You're welcome. Smile
The Psylo is on my other bike(a Kona hardtail). On the fox issue. I used 66 Rc2x 150mm, than 36Van Rc2 now 36float RC2. Both fox behaves the same. Only difference you can feel, is that in a parking lot where the van feels smoother. But on track no difference. Float is a bit lighter though, so I'd recommend it to you.

Hi Fella,
I see you have a nice SX as well Smile
So. I use a Marzocchi Ti spring, which is a 550x2.8 Iam 86kg without any gears, so that's why i use 550. Maybe a 500 would be fine too. I bought it on ebay for $150 when $ was cheap. Now it's getting cheaper here finally.
Frame weight is: 3114g with all the bolts. Shock is 402g without spring, setpost clamp is 44g.
Defenetly get Ti spring if can. Worth it!
Cheers!
